What exactly do I get?

A real folder of files: index.html, a stylesheet, a JavaScript file and any extra pages you asked for. There is no bundler, no node_modules and no framework runtime, so you can open index.html directly in a browser to see it.

Where can I host the result?

Anywhere that serves files. GitHub Pages, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages, Vercel, or an ordinary nginx or Apache directory all work without modification, because the output is plain static assets.

Is the site responsive?

Ask for it in your prompt and Codexe writes the media queries and flexible layout. Saying which breakpoints or which devices matter to you produces a better result than asking for 'a responsive site'.

Can it build a backend or a database?

No. This target produces front-end code only. If your site needs to store data or authenticate users you will need to supply an API for it to call from the browser.

Can I edit the code afterwards?
