CHANGELOG

Notable changes to the Codexe platform, newest first. Every entry is dated from the repository history - this record starts in July 2026, when the current codebase was created, and does not attempt to reconstruct anything earlier.

  1. Platform

Test players: Codexe plays your project on a real server before you get it

Before a plugin or a Skript is delivered, Codexe now starts it on a real Paper server of its Minecraft version and sends in test players. They run every command as an operator and as a normal player, and check what you asked for (for example that /kit really gives a diamond sword). If the plugin does not start, a command throws an error or a check fails because of the code, Codexe fixes it before handing it over. While it does, the progress box simply says Verifying... and shows each check live, with an address to watch the test players from Minecraft; your reply and the files arrive once it is done.

Try it now and the tests are now one thing: open your test server's Tests tab and press Run the tests. The test players join your server; if you are in game you watch them and read the test in chat, if not you follow every check in the tab. Add your own tests in a sentence ("when a player joins they get a compass") or step by step, and ask the AI to fix a failing one in one click. Datapacks that Minecraft refuses are now repaired automatically too, instead of being left unverified. See Try it now.

From 4 October 2026, downloads come with a paid plan. Every project stays free to generate, edit, compile, play on a test server and test. Downloading a JAR or the source, the GitHub export and the code of shared projects need Pro, Business or Enterprise, with one free download per account. This covers every project, also the ones made before today; what you download while on a plan stays yours after you cancel. Updated Terms (version 3.9, which also lets us update the Terms at any time, effective on publication), Privacy Policy (version 3.8) and Downloads.

  2. Platform

Try it now: play your project on a real Minecraft server, and the AI sees your images

After a successful build, Try it in Minecraft starts a private test server with your plugin, Skript or datapack installed and gives you an address like swift-otter-27.codexe.eu. You join from your own game, from any Minecraft Java version between 1.8 and 26.3, usually in under a minute, and the timer starts only when the server is ready. Compile again and the server offers to restart with the latest build; when the time ends, the server and everything on it is deleted. Plugins now also ask for their Minecraft version when you send the request, from 1.8.8 to 26.3, and are written for that version's API. Minutes and servers per day depend on your plan: see Try it now and the pricing table.

Codexe now asks Want to try it right now? as soon as a plugin compiles or a Skript or datapack is ready. Test servers install the plugins your plugin depends on (LuckPerms, Vault, PlaceholderAPI, WorldEdit, WorldGuard, ProtocolLib and more) in the right version automatically. Server Access lets friends join by Minecraft name, as operator if you want, and greets them as your guests; the panel adds a Minecraft console, live logs and performance (CPU, RAM, TPS, players). A server stops by itself when you leave Codexe or nobody plays for 15 minutes.

Images and text or code files you attach are now read by the AI, on the create page and in the project chat: a screenshot of an error, a mock-up of a menu, the class you want changed. Free includes one image per message; paid plans allow more images and add files (see Attachments). The microphone now works in every current browser, on every plan.

  3. Models

Codexe Lite, Codexe Pro and Codexe Max

The model picker now offers Codexe's own line of models: Codexe Lite on every plan, Codexe Pro from Pro and Codexe Max from Business. Every existing project moved automatically to the Codexe model of the same level. Skript scripts and datapacks are now loaded into a real Minecraft server before delivery, Discord bots are started before delivery, and a stuck build repair tries again with deeper reasoning. If a project's first generation cannot be delivered, its credits come back automatically. See Models for what each one is for.

  4. Models

Claude Opus 5.5, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna

Claude Opus 5.5 joins the Business tier, GPT-6 Sol the Pro tier and GPT-6 Luna becomes the default model for Free accounts. Each is cheaper than the model it replaces, so Claude Opus 5, GPT-5.6 Sol, GPT-5.6 Terra and GPT-5.6 Luna are no longer offered; projects already pinned to one of them keep generating. The pricing table now shows the reasoning effort range of every model.

  5. Models

Claude Fable 5.1, GPT-6 Astra and Grok 4.6

The model catalogue now leads with Claude Fable 5.1, GPT-6 Astra and Grok 4.6, and Claude Sonnet 5 was repriced downward after Anthropic made its introductory rate permanent. Models that a newer one had overtaken at the same price or cheaper - GPT-5.4, GPT-5.5, Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.7, Claude Fable 5 and Grok 4.5 - are no longer offered. Projects already pinned to one of them keep generating; only the picker and the pricing table changed.

  6. Platform

Documentation, capability pages and faster public pages

Added a full documentation section covering every supported project type, plus dedicated pages for the website, React, Kotlin plugin and proxy plugin targets. Public project and profile pages are now rendered on the server, so they load with content instead of filling in afterwards, and editor styling no longer downloads on marketing pages.

  7. Platform

Rewritten Terms and Privacy, refreshed model copy

The Terms of Service and privacy notice were rewritten in full, including the AI-system inventory and consumer rights sections. Model names shown across the site were brought in line with the current catalogue.

  8. Models

Reasoning effort wired to every provider that supports it

Reasoning effort now applies across all providers whose models accept it, rather than a subset. Higher effort spends more reasoning tokens for better results on complex work; free accounts stay on the medium default. See credits and models.

  9. Models

2026 model catalogue and corrected provider pricing

Added the 2026 generation of models across Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek and xAI, with per-tier gating, and corrected the per-token pricing used to bill generation so charges match provider rates.

  10. Billing

Subscription renewal accounting and verifiable cancellation

Fixed how renewal revenue is recorded and made subscription cancellation verifiable end to end, so a cancelled plan is reflected consistently across the account and billing records.

  11. Platform

    Current platform codebase

The starting point of the verifiable record: the repository behind the current Codexe platform. Changes made before this date predate the repository and are not listed, because we cannot date them accurately.
